Herculaneum Working Hours

March 16th - October 14th: daily from 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM

October 15th - March 15th: daily from 8:30 AM to 5 PM

The last admission is 90 minutes before closing. The park is closed on 1st of January, 1st of May and 25th of December.

When is the best time to visit Herculaneum?

While summer is the best season for tourists to explore Herculaneum because of the convenient weather, we suggest you choose winter or the shoulder season if you would like a less crowded experience.
